The Ideal Location for Business Growth and Success

We targeted the North and South Carolina region for relocation. When we came to visit Lincoln County, it became obvious that this was the best location for us. The area has a great, stable work force along with easy access for shipping globally. With it’s location close to Charlotte and the very business friendly climate, we are extremely pleased that we made the decision to relocate our business here from New York. Our operating costs and quality of life have been dramatically improved and we’re so glad we made the decision to relocate to Lincoln County.

HUBER Technology, Inc.

A Key Hub for North American Manufacturing Growth

Establishing a manufacturing facility in the United States is part of our goal to grow our manufacturing footprint in North America. Located at this 20-acre site in the Airlie Business Park here in Denver, Lincoln County will be our first facility in the North American region. With a well-established manufacturing infrastructure, as well as a growing industrial sector, Denver was identified as an ideal location for us to set up our first manufacturing facility in North Carolina. It clearly cements our commitment to supporting a robust environmental industry in North America and locally here in Lincoln County where Lincoln County Public Works has been a longtime partner.

Thriving in Lincoln County’s Proactive Business Environment

We are new to the area and I can say categorically, and without reservation, that this has been a great experience for us. The area has a “proactive” business climate and understands how businesses operate. I would call LEDA a “change facilitator” in this rapidly changing business environment and recommend Lincoln County as a positive climate in which to have a business operation.

Where Tradition Meets Opportunity

Main Street in Lincolnton is a great place to be in business. There is this small-town vibe, but the ideals are progressive, and yet the community is still able to hold onto strong roots in traditional values. It’s the kind of place where you want to raise a family, and you can build those relationships that are lasting.

Hands-On Learning, Real-World Success

My whole life I helped my dad build things, so he first taught me to work with wood and metal, using hand and power tools. I knew the way to continue to work with my hands was to take the advanced manufacturing classes at the Lincoln County School of Technology. Through the classes, I was first introduced to tools used in an industrial setting, engineering, safety, and was even OSHA certified at the age of seventeen. My teachers encouraged us to consider getting a trade degree. Through the apprenticeship program, I am receiving my education and on the job training. Once finished, I will have an Associates of Applied Science in Mechatronics Technology.

Local Roots, Limitless Opportunities

I attended West Lincoln High School and took classes at the Lincoln County School of Technology. I attended NC State and after my junior year, I applied for an internship through the Industrial Manager’s Association. I worked as an engineering intern for a summer but had changed my major to logistics. Through my internship, I made the necessary relationships and was able to return home after graduating with a good job in a great company with so much opportunity for the future.
