Gaston College support for New & Expanding Industries

  • Customized training for new or expanding industries is provided at no cost to encourage new industries to move to North Carolina and to encourage existing industries to expand
  • Any new industry moving to Lincoln County is eligible for training if the industry is in manufacturing, warehousing, or computer software development and hires 12 or more operators over a 12 month time period, Any existing industry is also eligible if it hires 12 or more new operators in excess of the previous three-year maximum employment
  • Training is provided during pre-employment and post employment for the new operators.
